October 25th
So this is an update.
From NDS (Next Door Swarthmore), there was a lively discussion on a topic I brought up i. e. Home Depot changing to self-serve machines rather than using Cashiers. I saw this as anti-employee but others see this as progress. After a week, I closed off discussion and thanked everyone, agree and disagreeable for therir postings.
I hope to send a letter online to the Board Chair of Home Depot and include other signatures, once I figure out how to do this online.
We have been busy with putting our garden to bed along with planting some other winter items, along with our three dogs, etc. We have some medical issues but people of our age are heir to those MI and ours are less than most.
I’m working on a deadline of Oct 30th for a Senior Play Contest (a special interest group to which I belong) and I have the rough copy done. I have been on a bi-weekly review of play contests and seeing which have requirements I can meet.
At the same time, I’m entering the last days, hopefully, on a long novel set in a past that actually never happened, but could of.
I’m trying to get back to
Updating old Poems and new ones and posting them
scanning old photos from my father and sending out some of his scrapbooks, where applicable (such as Sons of the Desert)
Anyway, it’s 9pm and I think there’s a World Series on.
