Reflections on the Duet Series
Now that I’ve posted 11 of the 12 originals, I was moved to the following reflections;
a) There might be some contest to send them to
b) 1983 is officially over for me
C) I skipped doing a #13 but created a new 14 which will be posted in a few days
d) Those were very strange times, as I was coming out of a very unique situation and, instead of living alone in South Philly, with the occasional female visitor, I began to see a woman or two who insisted I come to their place (possibly so they could bang on the door if needed) but wanted to hear my Poetry, in praise of them, of course, first. (I never just changed the names) One of them even forced me to help her with her urban garden, which always started out hopefully, as do all love affairs. Another insisted I listen to her tales of depression. Yet another wanted to tell me of her off-again on again affair, but not yet ready for someone else. And there were numerous anothers.
e) Next to come will be the Trions, after a decent interval.
