Secret People (1951)

Secret People (1951)

For the 1951 Britflick Movie Secret People

Audrey Hepburn’s 1st English Speaking Role

a movie about anarchism

The cause

we all have “the cause”

the fight for stay up at night for cause

the believe in redeem ourselves in cause

remembering how we let some words be said because cause

because the time wasn’t right or we needed the job or

because this was a friend or relative or lover or

because taking a stand even in a conversation

meant a cost more than we could spend

because-

Then there are others of us

who always know,  always know

and never have questions, never have questions

I used to desire to be them

to always be sure to always be to always

whether it was Marx or a religion

or a College or any other belief system

or any damn cause that you always knew was  right-

Then there are the few rare diamond times

when you do know you are right

despite all the world

with all their worlds

and all their words

speaking eloquently and confidently

to the contrary
