Walking Past Parc not near the Park

First Note This is based on a Park we frequently stopped in

where both homed and non-homed (my terms) interacted

Second note-this is the non-choral version

I plan to cut this into voices sometime before September

even though I don’t have a troupe to do it for,

Popular Neurotics only existing in my haze

and that of a few other misanthropes.

Third note-I should learn how to do a Podcast

and this should be the first

Walking past Parc not near the Park

Walking past Parc, not near theParc
Walking past Park, not near the Parc
walking for water
again, that’s all I drink anymore
past Parc  did not stop past Parc did not stop
the parc still being asleep
those who lay on the grass
homed and non-homed homed and non-homed
and those in between
and those in betwixt

On Train
Off Train
Off Train
On Train
looking at under neath windows
looking at women
looking at women’s legs
looking at french newspapers
looking at the others
but now we are the others
looking
looking
looking
off train
on train
on train
off
train-

at once
at once
we were in the

main
train
station
station
station
smelling like Americans
looking like foreign
having not a clue
new
and very old again
we were in the train
station
the main
train
station
station
station
then gone-

the women in the train
the woman in the train
we tried to stop and help
we tried to stop and help
but could not
but could not
then half the universe
got on
you have a better view
when standing
you understand more
when standing
you plan more
when standing

I remembered walking
I remembered walk
a member of the walking
walking
walking
walking
memory
memory
memory
the last thing to go
right before……..
