My Week #2 Not a Poem-fairly prosaic

My Week  #2-Not a Poem

Tuesday Night went as well as can be expected at Stage One and I felt fairly sharp and only read from my Blog Post. I really likes my last Poem “No More Memorial Days”  and started to fly at the end of it, at the end of it.

“Journey” gave me a bunch of pinstipe shirts that happen to fit so that was an extra added bonus. I have to find her number, no email she and thank her very much.

When this Blog is not a Poem I almost feel like it’s cheating, but it is life, or what mine is anyhow.

Wed at noon went to the Dew Drop Inn annual summer picnic at Swarthmore Swim Club and stayed for two hours.  Spoke to Bob Turner and others. Much thanks to “Putty” who is the dynamo behind this.

Then monthly shopping at Trader Joe’s and Giants.

Wed night went to the Cam Winton event.www, winton formayor.org. He’s a former resident of Swarthmore now running for Mayor of his  adopted city, where my daughter now lives.

Drive in the rain to day, one of two possibly tornadic storms (have wanted to use that in a sense since I heard it) for the day.

Wil and I had lunch at Andy’s Diner on Baltimore Pike (This isn’t exactly Leopold Bloom talking nor is it meant to be) where the service was so slow,I left my hat there.  We did catch up and he wants a copy of NMMD so I should get it to him this weekend.

Going to Democracy Unplugged Planning Meeting at 7 tonight at Panera’s.

Am very energized about this.

Other than that, the Phillies are slowly sinking into the morass of mediocre baseball teams which is actually worse than a purely bad team as a mediocre team leads you to think if only.  If only is what I used to  say about a flawed lover ( and they of me, I’m sure) whom you think you can fix, if only.  But you really can’t ifx them, you can’t.
